are you talking about science fiction or scientific literature? because we can barely produce regular fusion. and most physicists consider cold fusion to be a myth in the first place.

Yeah, I know its considered myth. But through the years I've read quite a few papers and I've seen quite a few news articles claiming promising results. So yes, scientific literature.
I recall coming across scattered ebooks on the subject when torrenting physics books but I've been looking and can't find any at all

Can't find said news articles either. Specifically I remember one about two years ago. I remember a picture of two people with some device that was the size of a loveseat maybe. And it periodically stated through the article how they can't say its "cold fusion" but they have achieved fusion at lower temperatures than previously thought possible. It was on a well known site as well.
