You mean colouring?
I first made line art, used eraser to remove lines going too far + some fine touch to the shape.
Line width 2 works good for pencil. Eraser around 2-4.
Then I added 2nd layer, put it under the first one and coloured on that. Start with main areas, then move onto smaller. Don't be afraid to overlap colours.
Big pencil size, 8+ is easy to paint big areas.
In last step, use eraser around the picture. It's easy to start a little further from image and move cursor closer to colours on edges while erasing.
Inside the art use pencil with colour.
This time smaller, for precision. Around 3-6, smaller for small areas and tight corners.

You almost loose your balance a few times and do stumble over a few tree roots but thanks to your UNFINISHED WALKING STICK you stay up.
You soon hear the sounds of flowing water and not long after that low mumbling.
The I.S. stops and you come up to his side.
On the other side of the creek there is a fishing pole propped up in a piece of PVC plastic pipe and behind that there is a man sitting on the ground, facing away from you cradling and murmuring to some sort of rifle with a long bayonet on the end. Even in your addled state your are still Keksandra and you know an SKS when you see it.
The man is still murmuring to his firearm and hasn't noticed you.
Wat do?

Use a handkerchief as a sling and lob it to him underhand. Err on the side of throwing a bit too hard. He can probably catch it even if it's not straight to his hands, and in the worst case better mushed a bit than in the creek.

/k/ greedily opens the foil wrapping and gobbles down the snack inside stuffing the reflective wrapper into one of his many, many pockets.
After a few quiet chewing noises and a couple of swallows he points to your left bringing his hands apart horizontally then together vertically seeming to silently indicate that the creek gets wider and shallower in that direction enough for the two of you to cross without going for a swim and getting all cold.
When you look in that direction you see that the creek does indeed seem to start widening as it disappears around a bend.
