Months have passed and I am still salty.
I am seriously frustrated over this because of how inefficient it is and how negatively it has effected both boards and the user's browsing experiences.
On /d/ western fetish (which used to be on there all the time with absolutely no complaint whatsoever except the turbo weeb 1%) got exiled to /aco/, and almost all the fetish threads beside dickgirls have had a major hit to their content.
And on /aco/ regulars have to surf through mounds of fetish to find threads that are vanilla.
Cross boarding or blocking content isn't a solution whatsoever. its like trying to use a bandaid to patch up a gun wound.

Well if the NSFW screencaps are from official manga/anime they're allowed on the board. And moot (the guy who made the rules) said sad panda threads are allowed on /a/ as long as no image dumps occur.

The biggest problem with /aco/ is that the second it got created, comics with nudity and extreme violence got instabanned on regular /co/, and then shit like Crossed somehow got fucking banned on /aco/, when /aco/ was supposed to be both porn and nsfw narrative comics. The narrative element of the board got completely shafted, but these kinds of comics that used to be a-okay on /co/ as long as you used spoiler tags now need to be fucking painstakingly censored in MSpaint if you want your storytime to actually be seen by anyone
