Seems like drawthreads around 4chan these days are facing quite a bit of monitored shitposting these days, even moreso than usual. Why not have a thread where we can bitch and moan about drawthread's condition and see if anything comes of it?
I'll start.
/trash/ drawthreads have gone to shit since last month, with numerous people shitposting and spamming the board with multiple drawthreads at a time, taking up decent space on that board. Even if it is a place where rejected threads go, the report button should work just like on any other board, but they are often left unchecked and people are free to shitpost despite the global rules in effect that bans shitposting/spam there.
I do agree that shitposting has become a huge problem. But how can we determine a shitposter from an actual requester in ambiguous cases?

I've tried hanging out in multiple different drawthreads all across the site, from /v/ to /vg/ (back when they had drawthreads, people stopped making them because things got so bad) and even the /trash/ one. They always seem to turn to garbage the moment shitposters notice the same requests posted every thread, then they just use that as an excuse to spam.
I don't know if it's just people getting salty that their request isn't getting done or people that think they're doing a service by trying to chase away old requests, but it always drives away all of the artists and leaves the threads totally desolate.
It just seems like the unfortunate nature of general threads to eventually boil down into a handful of regular users, which means the same requesters requesting the same or similar things, which just agitates too many people.

I'd love for at least the index spammer creating new threads and the spammers in general to be dealt with (this global is still listed as enforceable on trash). I don't know if nothing is moderated due to apathy or because the threads created appear legitimate at first glance when really they are only created to divide the user base and troll by cross board idiots (many of which appear to be avatar posters from /b/).

I seriously suggest removing drawthreads from all boards and keeping them as themed generals in /i/ic/. Have a /v/ themed Drawthread thread there and so on. That way drawings can still be done and the board is less cluttered with shitposting requesters. Drawthreads arent even fucking suppose to have requests, it originallly was threads where anyone and everyone jumped in and drew whatever the fuck they wanted (so long as it was related to the board) and provided quality original content. Drawthreads have been a large pot of shitposting for the longest and it needs to be taken care of.
Mods/janitors exiled board drawthreads before and it wasn't bad at all, yet they still did it. Now it's just weeaboo faggots crossboard shitposting 24/7 for a fucking drawing they're too poor to pay commission for. These type of posters have lead to major shitstorms over the years like that Mexican tripfaggot, the Ammyfag, all the different fetish shits, that big several months long Undertale shitstorm, etc. All posts are NSFW shit (which used to get you banned even asking for NSFW content, dunno if the newer staff knows that) and any original on-topic content provided by drawfags are immediately backlashed for not drawing shitty animu porn. Drawfags are not encouraged to discuss with each other about art and the board theme at the same time, they get driven out.
