Since no-one has yet given a full answer: Yes there was a new scruffening (I like to call it "Scruffening 2: Mad With Power) where a mod declared that anything containing the words "HI ANON" was roleplaying and therefore against the rules.
Scruffy took this opportunity to use the resulting confusion to begin deleting generals he didn't like. Slave Pony and Submission is Mandatory have been the hardest hit, however others sometimes get deleted.
