Continuous training, post basic, is continued across all countries militaries, so you cannot say they get better training afterward hurdur.

The USMC is an armed force, it has infantry, artillery, MARSOC, fighter pilots, truck dirvers, tanks, helo pilots, signallers etc. A self contained highly mobile branch. You cant compare them, the US has no equivalent to the Royal Marines. Every RM goes through 32 weeks of basic at lymptsone then becomes a Rifleman in a Commando(battalion). They specialize later as can all infantry soldiers. But In the muhreen you go through basic then your MOS school.

I get you point, but the Marines (just like the army) don't stop at 13 weeks. It's 13 weeks in basic (or as the muhreens call it, "Boot") then you go to your specialist training. For the army we have OSUT which combines them both in the Infantry. Then depending on your until you go to additional schooling if you do some high speed shit like airborne. Finally once that's checked out you spend free time on field exercises or weapons qual.
