Let me preface this post by informing you that the current year is now 2016. We Canadians have just woken up from a 10 year long fucking nightmare. Seriously. These past few months have felt refreshingly different...Trudeau's Liberals are in power, gas is cheap, new Jurassic Park and Star Wars movies came out recently, a Clinton is running for president and everyone is playing pokemon. It feels like the 90s are back!
You see, for the first time in far too long Canadians are experiencing democracy – a popular movement in the past, and quite common around the world. Having just ousted our own incarnation of a fascist quasi-dictator, we understand what America faces with people like Donald Trump running for the Oval office. It’s no surprise to me that our newly christened Prime Minister, along with the majority of Canadians, is taking a strong stance against Trump and his xenophobic, demagogic, and bigoted policies. This is a time for Americans to show the world who they are, and I sincerely hope they make the right choice.
A message from the Government of Canada.

Sad part is like 70% of Canadians, Conservatives included, think like OP.
>mfw I have to pay 30% more for stuff from the US
>i don't have a face because i can't afford one

Trudeau is a fucking embarrassment.

He's cutting health transfers from 6% to 3%. A lawsuit is being brought against the whole system. But 150 billion in PROVINCIAL JURISDICTION "infrastructure" with your CPP money is just fine. Healthcare worked under a "spending powers" idea. Politics is fucked. We have one party anyways. Started as one party. Never really left eachother. Nobody owns a house or has a job. Everything's fucked

I don't think those graphs are totally accurate. The green party is way too right, I figured if anything, both they and the NDP would be further left and even more liberal.

Green doesn't like NDP's following of gas price collusion laws for example. Single issue eugenicist hackjob is the green party. NDP opposes C-51 and TPP. Very lolbertarian

I don't know about "single issue". The greens don't get enough credit for their other policies however, I couldn't agree more with the NDP. That being said, I feel like the only left winger on /pol/
