Well, if someone is elected democratically THEN turns the government fascist, all he did was go from democracy to fascism, not combine the two. "One person one vote democracy" doesn't work, although I am not opposed to voting if it is required that a household for example (one family) is entitled to one vote. Or other requirement. The most important aspect of democracy is that the voters are invested in the land.

This is where fascism tries to instill in the people a greater purpose. A people who work together for the good of their brothers and the homeland. I think this is the key. Any system that lacks this will be susceptible to greed and exploitation. No system is perfect, but if the majority of a nation has this philosophy the chances of the nation being better off are a lot higher than other systems.
