The UK isn't a shit hole, but London is absolutely a shit hole and so are few of the other major cities.
Find a smaller city like where I live (Norwich) there's next to no immigrants, it has a lot of history and old pubs, super chilled and laid back but all the benefits of a major city with shopping malls and cinemas etc.
It's also the the least religious city in the UK (I wonder why) and pretty tolerant of liberal ideas while at the same time being fairly old school and tradition. You're not going to be beaten up for being gay but at the same time there's mostly white/white relationships.
Same goes for a lot of the smaller towns around the country and for maximum comfy mode if you can live in the country in a small village you're on to a winner, but you need to travel a lot.

Just moved back to small town in Staffordshire last Friday after being in the States (Savannah, GA) for a decade. I'm actually really enjoying it so far. I've got some pros and cons for living in the UK compared to the US.
PROS:
- UK is extremely cheap, suprisingly. Groceries, real estate, electronics, everything. I never expected it.
- Groceries are all fresh, even pre-packaged foods aren't processed crap
- Walking convenience everywhere, great exercise. Easy public transportation for long distances, and cars, like everything are new and cheap
- Literally no nonwhites in the area, only minimal chav scum
- Never sweating my balls off like in Savannah
- Lots of lovely places to visit on day trips
- Awesome restaurants and pubs, cheap booze
- Loads of jobs for educated people like me
CONS:
- TV and radio programming are literal absolute dogshit. Local programming is fucking irredeemable trash, American shows are all ancient reruns
- Anything dealing with the government and documentation is pulling teeth. Absolutely abysmal
- Going anywhere near a populated city center to go shopping or do an activity thrusts you into a sea of curry scented brown people with piss poor manners and demeanor
- People are polite over unimportant things but will bitch and moan over the tiniest things
- Drivers are fucking insane

You'd be right. But that stuff is more prevalent in southern Oregon. Place feels like something you'd see in little house on the prairie. Quaint little log cabins in the forest with 99.99 % white people. Cops are rare so a lot of the problems you have are solved by the community. My parents have got property their so I head down for a week during the summer. Place has got sand dunes on the coast as well so a couple of buddies and I would shoot skeet and set of fire works and drink around a bonfire while we look at the stars. Max comfy to be sure.

Most of the big cities are pretty shit and its where you tend to get the biggest numbers of non whites, students and tramps.
Outside of that you tend to have suburban housing areas, ranging from terraces on the outskirts to estates and villages as you go further out.
These can vary, depends on which side of the city you are on (east tends to be shit because the wind blows that way) and the overall wealth of the city in general. Rich cities have rich suburbs, its simple.
Some are affluent white enclaves, some are dole scum hell holes, the odd few are paki/polish areas etc
Further out than that and you get rural towns and villages, sea-side towns, mining villages etc.
These are almost always completely white except for the odd few assimilated tokens.
Usually traditional and conservative but there are the off few progressive types too in the younger generations.
It all depends on what you want from life.
If you are after clubbing, shopping and cafe culture then you want to be in a city but you have to put up with the bullshit that comes with it.
If you want a peaceful, traditional life you want a rural village but you may find it hard to get a job or a girlfriend.
The best bet is to find a nice quite area of a city or a suburban area that is easy to commute from. You're never too far from the coast or a national park either way.
