Your statement on the validity of science is correct. You can generally trust our current methodology when it comes to the world that is directly in front of you. It falls short when it comes to anything beyond that though, and you are doing yourself a serious disservice by attempting to apply it in that way. Its like trying to sail a boat across the desert.

Metaphysics is something most people should at least try to square away with themselves, just like everything else. Again, it's not even in my debate portfolio, and my original intention being in this thread is defending myself.
