But if DB goes down, so does half your financial market. DB has an exposure of 64 trillion. It is over leveraged about 40x. It will drag almost every bank in Europe (whether EU or no) with it.

REMINDER

Corbyn is to be supported so far as he continues to destroy Labour and keep the left in political deadlock.

Corbyn IS NOT an alternative to May, May is shitty but it's bearable for now. This, however, is the best outcome for UKIP as far as the state of the other parties go.

We're exempt from future eurozone bailouts after they fucked it up the last time, but in practice we'll probably be dragged into it because this is going to be the biggest financial disaster since the great depression.

But since RBS and Barclays are probably going to need their own bailouts as a consequence of exposure to derivatives - the UK may not be able to help with Italy if the exchequer is paying attention.

I actually agree with Hitchens' argument for FPTP in that it creates a strong government and a strong opposition. But at the same time the current situation is just fucking hopeless. We've got two entrenched parties who do not even remotely represent their voter bases. 2/3 of Tory voters want out of the EU, yet 70% of Tory MPs want in. Labour's equivalent dilemma is self evident.

With PR we end up with endless coalitions along with a list of new problems. Remember how Cameron got to weasel out of manifesto promises with the Lib Dem coalition, like holding the EU referendum in 2010?

I don't know what can be done about it. I like having a strong government and a strong opposition, but I don't like how the MPs never seem to actually represent what the people want.

> MPs are chose by instant-runoff.

What do you mean? At the moment the public has little control over MP selection. The party does it and most people vote for the party rather than the actual local candidate.

The problem is, if you look at a single party, you've got candidates of vastly differing political views in the same party. Sometimes they differ so much you can't even tell them apart from the other side, and these centrists always end up on the front benches.

I just don't see how this can be corrected.

White births should be around 77% and increasing due to more white people are migrating for work and most indians migrate because of education. And it seems like the chinese population will dubble in the near future. I expect the white population will not dip below 80% in the near future unless a blairite comes in power. And also your immigrants are better intergrated than germanys, france and my country

Pic related: don't worry about the indian and paki rise is bs. Because of 2015 only aroud 15000 pakis came to the uk and most indians are in the uk to study. The carribean total feetility rate is on decline so expect them to actually decreese. And well the african one might be the problem

They both cause their own problems. It's an indisputable fact that immigration hurts the poor and helps the rich - the bankers are an entirely different problem.

> The greatest wage effects are found for low-waged workers. Dustmann et al (2013) find that each 1% increase in the share of migrants in the UK-born working age population leads to a 0.6% decline in the wages of the 5% lowest paid workers and to an increase in the wages of higher paid workers. Similarly, another study focusing on wage effects at the occupational level during 1992 and 2006, found that, in the unskilled and semi-skilled service sector, a 1% rise in the share of migrants reduced average wages in that occupation by 0.5% (Nickell and Salaheen 2008).

http://www.migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/briefings/labour-market-effects-immigration

There is no reason to import these people other than for the benefit of the rich or for the arbitrary sake of diversity. I'm a fucking middle class traditional tory working in the financial sector, and I seem to give more of a shit about the country's working class than the likes of Owen Jones because he cares more about appearing virtuous than practicing actual virtue.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/687490/Britain-negotiate-trade-deals-China-Brexit

The US congress has already introduced a motion to negotiate a FTA with Britain. Keep in mind that a FTA with the United States alone is worth more to Britain than access to the EU's single market.

>10 year terms
>Head of the Curch of England
>Will appoint the Governments of each countries at will, decide Election Dates but have relatively less power elsewhere
>MMP system

>Small House of Lords, 1 per million population (65 right now)
>HoL will have much more power than right now, can stand against the HoC
>Will be mostly elected, but will reserve positions for some very prominent people
>Keep peerages, but remove any Hereditary appointments

You're wrong about ISIS. Let me explain it simply.

Syrian government (Assad): Secular, no sharia law, good healthcare/education

Islamic State: Sharia law, stoning of women, basically Saudi Arabia

"Rebels": The Islamic state but with NATO funding and backing.

The sole reason NATO wants Syria to fall to Islamists is because the current government is a government ally. We need to bomb the "moderate" "rebels* and ISIS.

>>80677697
IF article 50 isn't triggered, it will be because Parliament voted it down. At that point a snap election is virtually guaranteed. There's no way Parliament can defy the democratic weight of the referendum without taking responsibility - it must be dissolved. In the general election that follows, Nigel will obviously be closely involved with Ukip, but the party will have to refashion itself a bit. While Ukip has proved capable of mobilising massive supporter base with the referendum, general elections tend to give the main parties a lot of institutional advantages. Hence the need to tag team with eurosceptic Tories who believe (rightly if article 50 isn't triggered) that May won't deliver.

Literally the only people who would be unhappy with Leadsom leading Ukip are contrarians on a certain cartoon website who'll have to find a new offbeat party to like.
