We got different types of policemen. One are the normal street policemen who get called if you spit someone in their beer. They just take everything to protocol and take actions if needed. Then we got a deescalation team. These are officers who talk to demonstrants when they march and things could get tricky. They look and behave like some pathfinder. And the last sort is the one you see on the picture. They don't talk, they just try to get as many into jail as possible. That's the last ressort.
Once I was at a demo and talked to one of them. I said something like "Ah your friend and helper is here, ready to engage when things get serious"
