Don't be the one to bring him up and when people bring up politics at gatherings always listen to their points first and remain calm don't raise your voice be polite.
Know his points, know his reasoning behind his ideas so you can back them up.
If someone has a problem with him ask what concerns them the most about Trump then politely explain how they are incorrect with facts and statistics.
If they are being an irrational feminazi you won't convince them and it is what it is. Hopefully people around them see how ridiculous they sound and fall to your side.
