MKEanon here. If you want to understand why clarke is so mad you really need to see what he's dealing wiht everyday. He gets utterly shit on by the county executive at every step. His dept funding is cut to pay for social programs that don't work. His deputies risk their lives trying to protect black people from other black people and are shit on for their trouble.
this is what MKE will do to a person with integrity. When you live here and see what the city could be, when you get a sense of how much money woudl get dumped into the locale economy if MKE did not have th reputation is does, you'd get angry.
i love this city. I moved to Madison a few years ago and the same thigns that MKE is dealing with are happening here, but the Mayor and COP are utterly fucking spineless. White guilt is going to ruin, utterly ruin, this beautiful state.
