The only reason why carriers were created was because of lack of flying distance of jets/bombers and the lack of political partners around the world.
Now with a high tech jets being able to fly around the world with one filling there is no reason for carriers that are nothing more than giant targets and are also easily observable by satellites/drones/radar giving your opponent even the strategic egde of knowlegde about every single of your bomber attacks.
