I would avoid Chinese as they are widely fluctuating in quality since a huge number of them were made commercially by norinco for the western market. BUT. Only difference between a yugo and a Russian is that yugo lacks a chromed barrel and in most cases(59/66) has a grenade launcher attachment and an associated gas plug. Yugo, if you don't mind the extra weight, or are willing to remove the Yugo junk. Yugoslavia always had a hard-on for rifle grenades. Everything they made had sights and adapters for them, which added a lot of weight to the front of the SKS. But they were all good quality, chrome lined bores.
