the Portuguese army coup that led to the fall of Angola and Mozambique. so the Rhodies had to defend more Territory and spread themselves more thin than they already were as well as call up as many white people as possible including men of 50+. I think for the most part blacks were exempt from the call up. Ian smith said that if Salazar was still about the coup would not have happened.
the Vorster government of South Africa was the only remaining supply line after the fall of Mozambique and they used that supply line to put pressure on the Smith government to attend talks in Geneva where smith wanted the Kissinger plan but the Callahan government of London kept giving in to Mugabe and altering the deal so everyone went home. Late in the war Vorseter then cut the military aid a fair bit so the Rhodesians had enough good shit to hold the line but not enough to take the fight into Mozambique and Zambia to properly deal with the terrorists where they were building for a conventional war.
then the internal settlement was fucked because the terrorists wouldn't recognise muzorewa so the UK wouldn't recognise Zimbabwe-Rhodesia it also looked like muzorewa had little power as the head honcho of the Rhodesian army general walls at that point seemed to be the real power in the country and he kept up the cross border raids until Vorster almost completely stopped the supply line so the Rhodesians were forced to the table at the Lancaster house talks happened and you know the rest.
TL;DR Rhodesia fell because they ran out of ammo and lacked the means to supply themselves because of geography. man power shortage didn't help as well.

Rhodesia is a perfect example of what happens when a white minority allows globalism and a non-white majority to take control.
They made the mistake of giving the black majority way to much political power. Some will say they had no choice, and maybe they didn't, but what happened in Rhodesia on a national level is what will happen on a global scale if we allow things to progress as they are.

some officers from the Portuguese army had enough they helped launch a coup with the antigovement movements one of the main points was they were a bit tired of fighting commies in the colonies. so once the government changed the Portuguese withdrew from Africa some of their helicopters fell off the back of a wagon and ended up in Rhodesia

the leader Salazar died, and the new leadership didn't care about its African colonies.So they gave up. This lead to Angola and Mozambique falling to communists. Mozambique was a major way into Rhodesia, and Angola and it cuban troops was a threat to South Africa.
The whites and blacks couldn't unite against the forces of western leftism and communism from the east.
