/pol/ has a pretty fair balance of threads. Pro Hillary, Pro Bernie, Democrat, Republican - it's a smorgasbord. It also spans continents, as you can find a BritPol thread, and threads discussing regional and larger political issues, pretty much any time you look.
Pretty fairly represents political opinions, and is open to discussion, without going all wiggy like /r9k/ and /b/.
/pol/ is like a mirror of the current political discourse without any particular ideology having a louder voice.
If you disagree, start a thread about whatever you stand for, and watch the discussion start.
