So, as someone born in CoMo and spent his entire childhood up until 19 living in Mid Mo: it's kind of a mixed bag, really depends on where you live. Osage County literally had 2 black people during the 2010 census, so nice. Locking the car or the house Elias always optional when we'd head to Jeff City for shopping. The countryside is as white as Eastern Europe and conservative as fuck. Gun laws are lax, alcohol laws are lax, tobacco is cheap. You can pretty much do whatever the hell you want and no one will bother you. And some towns, like Hermann, still remember their German heritage. Most towns in Mid Mo celebrate their own little Octoberfests once a year. And we've got the whitest city with a population over 100,000 in Springfield. We've also got a rather unique religious situation in that we have a lot of white Catholics, as a result of French and Bavarian settlers back in the old days.
On the other hand, St Louis is the birthplace of BLM, and Mizzou was the birthplace of BLM student activism. We have the worst blacks in the country, except for Chiraq nogs. St. Louis, KC, and Columbia are all super liberal. Arrogant, crime ridden, and full of West Coast-style gay hipsters.
