I've heard this from quite a few sources, but I've also heard that they work just fine as long as you really lube them up. Like, REALLY lube them up. They come with two tubes of graphite and a carrying pack each, so it's a great deal and it's not like there's a shortage of lubricant, but I guess the survival-people are really into conserving their supplies.

How good is the reliability of this magazine? It seems like a nice compromise between the Korean trashcans and the Surefire 60/100-round mags (both of which I have heard extremely mixed opinions about.) What do you think of the Surefire 100?

That's a great suggestion. No matter what trashcans I end up going with, even if I'm still failing after a couple of tactical reloads, I can just draw a sidearm and keep going. There might just be a Jamal 9mm with Dolla Dolla Bill Yo finish in my future.

Lube aside they are made of trash tier plastics that tend to snap if youre running or drop them. Also the heat of constant fire probably will not do that plastic any favors

Going to test it out in a couple of days here. If I feel it sucks, ergonomically or from a performance perspective, I'll take your advice and remove it.
Basically, I picked it up because it was extremely cheap in-shop compared to the prices you see them go for online (brand new in packaging,) and because I couldn't afford any other major upgrades. I figure if a good trigger is too expensive, and I can't even come close to affording a scope, then I should at least have the option for heavy suppression/ sheer firepower to compensate. That's not really what AR's are made for, I know, but I wanted the versatility. Sometimes you need an AR-15, sometimes you need a machine gun.

Capacity is sort of dildos because single stack, they are heavy and awkward to carry. Get a police trade in glock if youre on a serious budget. While im not a big fan of .40S&W you can get a G23 or a G22 for really cheap right now

I decided on this order because, for as desirable as it is to carry your mags on your person at all times, you can technically do without in your own home.
