Is anybody else genuinely worried about race relations here in the US? Just imagine you believed the following things:
>law enforcement agents regularly commit public executions on people that look like you, and never suffer any consequences for it
>the majority of the people that run the government (that don't look like you) secretly hate you, and the ones that claim not to hate you, are unconsciously biased against you
>you live in a system that is designed to hold you back because a lack of anti discrimination policies in areas like housing
>your people are given worse schools, and this explains why you can't get good, high paying jobs
>on paper you have equal rights but in practice they are not granted to you in the same way they are granted to others
What would you do about this? Would you really sit there and take it? If you truly believed those things, and someone came in and said that actually you are responsible for the failures within your community, would you not lose it?
That's why I'm scared for race relations. When black people "wake up" (or get woke as they say) these are the things they are believing to be true. Couple this with the fact that almost all of academia supports these positions, and now you've got an intellectual basis for believing it (which we all know falls apart when looking at biological differences).
If you had told me a few years ago that segregation was a plausible solution to problems, I would've probably laughed at you or looked at you as if you were mentally ill, but now, it seems as if it's going to be necessary.

Actually, I'm fairly sure the per pupil spending is higher for blacks than for whites in some states. But this doesn't matter, people act on false information all the time, and that is what has me worried. If you believe these things, it paints an incredibly bleak picture and gives you a future that is basically out of your control, so you'd be justified in doing something insane or violent against others that you perceive to cause these things (which would be whites in general).

This is definitely the case. But less of the funding reaches the students and more is used tazing violent kids who don't want to be there into line to keep the school stats up.
