Is taxation inherently theft?

REEEEEEEEEE
>>80118536
Doesn't matter, because without taxation you'll be facing a lot more ACTUAL theft.
>>80118536
No, you must pay for the utilities and services that you used. I'm talking about roads, bridges, the military which keeps you safe, etc.

>Benefit from government services and protection
>cry about having to support your government so that it can exist
shut the fuck up you brain dead cunts
>>80118536
Do people unironically believe it? It's like all those dumb fucks in Ireland refuse to pay for water because ''water is free''
>>80118536
only big tax.
>>80118536
No, because you won't die for Tax evasion. You will go to jail, but you won't be shot for it.
Also the government provides services for the taxes you pay. The Robber just takes your money and spends it on himself.
Whether or not you take advantage of those services depends on a lot of factors but say you're a businessman who imports and exports, and utilizes ships to move his goods.
You're using the service of the US Navy having mastery of the seas that keeps the major trade lanes free of pirates.
If you ship goods somewhere where the US Navy doesn't actively go?
Like Somalia?
You can lose your goods, your ships, and your employees to pirates. Real pirates.

Now, obviously this applies more to Americans than Italians, I don't know what services your government provides.
>>80118536
No, because the countries people and government all agreed to pay taxes to contribute to the betterment of the country so if you refuse to pay taxes, you agreed to be sent to jail for refusing to contribute.
The top one is in fact theft because you didnt agree to your property being taken by another random person.

If the government spends them properly, no, in oth of our cases, yes.

>Is taxation inherently theft?
>No, because you won't die for Tax evasion.
literally what. anything that doesnt kill you cant be theft?
>>80122628
I'm saying the image isn't accurate because the Government doesn't hold you at gunpoint for not paying taxes they arrest you, if you don't chimp out and give an officer a reason to shoot you anyway.
>>80118536
It's not voluntary and if you don't pay it you're met with the force of the state.

The real reason taxation isn't theft is because #1 The Government provides services, taxes pay those services, and #2. The only reason the money has value is because the government accepts that currency for taxes. If it didn't it'd only be worth what people think it's worth, if they thought it wasn't worth anything, it wouldn't be worth anything. But because the Government as an institution says that money has value and accepts it for taxes, it's worth something. #3. It's really the government's money, you just get some in transactions but it ultimately comes from the government, it's a fiat currency, not hard goods. "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's"

>sir you failed to pay your taxes please come with us to jail
>yeah nah
>oh okay, we'll just leave then. have a nice day
Violence is the ultimate threat backing the system up, your government has a monopoly on it.
If you think taxation is "theft" then you're a retard who has no clue what taxation is and you don't know the first fuck about theft.
QUIT YER BITCHIN AND MOVE TO SOMALIA
