Sikhs integrate rather well. The older ones will still hold on to their Indian clothing styles, but will act as civil as the next person when it comes to public events and such. The younger ones, even the ones who get a really useful degree in something, do have the tendency to adapt a more cosmopolitan attitude, but less so than other Indians. It looks like they mellow out and move to the suburbs when they start a family.
I suspect that they are no threat to suburbs, as I find that even in a majority white or non-Sikh subdivisions they will maintain the front of their houses to match the style everyone else has. I sometimes joke that their reason to congregate themselves in places like certain Brampton neighbourhoods is simply that they can cook stronger smelling food without causing a problem to others. Those places are also very traditional, almost as if it was brown suburban Utah, with pink snout houses rather than the American style semi colonial stuff.
I will agree though that the kids are goofy. Not thug-tier like tamils, but more like awkward white kids plus an affinity to electronic devices that most asian kids seem to have. Sikhs are bro tier and assimilate very well. Friends with a lot of them here and many speak the native language fluently.
Well in my personal opinion, they are, they have big heart, I had two Sikh friends and they used to give me free stuff and even pay my canteen bills during college(without asking) Sikhs also offer free food everyday to people of all religion and race at the gurudwara, they're also very smart at making money and live luxurious life compared to anyone in india. The only flaw is that they're short tempered, my Sikh friend punched me in the face but it didn't hurt too bad thankfully.
