Once you pull the trigger, you keep doing so until the threat is no longer a threat. - We can't clearly see the right hand so we DO NOT KNOW if he was fully restrained or not.
- Only one officer could have been holding his right arm down, the officer with a gun was not restraining Sterling's right arm.
- Even if the other officer was restraining his arm, it is NOT beyond the realm of possibility that a 300 pound man could quickly reach into his right pocket with his right arm and produce a pistol.
