I spent two hours talking with two south koreans on a train who were on a business trip about your history with Japan. Apparently it's not weird at all in south korean culture to call other men handsome. One of them was pretty much telling me to come to SK and bang bitches.
We also talked about how insane the work ethic is in SK, I waved at them when I got off at my stop but they were just staring in front of them looking miserable.

I've been to Seoul twice.
First time was 2001 when people still bowed and handed money with both hands. Went back in December 2015 and there was none of that.
There was also a lot more poverty. First time I saw maybe one homeless person during my 4 week stay, second time I saw people sleeping outside every night and was approached by panhandlers every day.
Food is expensive by Asian standards but portions are big even by American standards. It's pretty good, but you get sick of it pretty fast, especially when it's the same shit every meal. It's hard to find a proper bacon and eggs breakfast.
Seoul is supposed to be the fashion capital of Asia but most of the women there look like shit. Some of the men dress okay in proper menswear while others dress like Compton niggers complete with red/blue doo rags.
Korean women are not that attractive to me compared to other Asian women. They wear so much skin lightening makeup that they look whiter than drywall. Seeing Korean schoolgirls hold hands does give me boners however.
