Educational institutions are in turn tied to (by finance and social class) the established institutions of government and society. So the majority of "educated" persons agreement with globalist ideas is not surprising. Very few people want to go against the grain - and this is doubly so with the stigma (reinforced by media and the establishment) associated with criticism of the social and global ideals.
So yes, "educated" people on the majority function within the framework of ideas laid out and promoted before them, else they face being ostracized by their social and academic peers.

Having an education is meaningless nowadays. Entry requirements are so low that almost everybody gets the chance to go to university these days, courses are easier than they were 60 years ago and almost everybody passes, and universities have become left wing, cultural marxist indoctrination camps - so it is in the interest that everyone goes there to become indoctrinated.
It's no wonder the government offers free grants and loans to school leavers (and then fucks them over by adding interest they said they wouldn't add).
It is not the uneducated and inexperienced who gravitate towards nationalism. It is the educated, inexperienced and out of touch who gravitate towards globalism, as they never actually feel or see the massive damage it causes to working class communities.
