Chris was a moron. He was completely oblivious to the political and moral decay that people exactly like him played a large part in bringing about. If he were alive today he would be miserable--and he would deserve to be miserable, because this is the world he wanted to bring about. This is the godless, cultureless utopia we were promised.
Peter on the other hand has been correct about basically everything in the last twenty years. I can't think of one subject upon which he has not been vindicated. The only point upon which I disagree with Peter Hitchens is his defeatism, but that is understandable in an older man.
