Has this ever happened in history? A political party being so strong that it will win every election for decades?
Democrats ain't losing ever again
>>79844231
The workers party of Korea has done this for the past 6 decades.
>>79844231
Yes, lots of times. Soviet Union, China and North Korea are but a few of the examples.
>>79844956
>Yes, lots of times. Soviet Union, China and North Korea are but a few of the examples.
>Win an election
Pick one
Didn't the Swedish Social Democrats stay in power for like 40 consecutive years or something?
It's only been 8 years you terrorist
>>79845035
You can't lose if the competition is dead or imprisoned :^)
>>79844231
The Assad's party
That's pretty much the case for Singaproe
happened in Sweden for ages
>>79845158
To be fair if Trump loses the Republican party is completely finished. Its supporters have utterly doubled down on Trump saving them and re-legitimizing the party. A Clinton win would prove to the world that it is as broken and divided as it appears from the outside.
Weedman's dad Pierre was PM from 1968 to 1984, eh
>>79844231
You're ignoring that both houses of congress are likely to be republican controlled come November. And if not then, in 2018.
Democrats are great at mobilizing their pet demographics for the flashy presidential elections, but those voters don't give enough of a shit to turn out in others. And, they generally aren't engaged enough to help the down ballot candidates
>>79845306
This. And do you think the Democrats will just allow another party to rise to power? No.
The type of positive media coverage and money it would take for any other party to rise to enough prevalence to even combat the Democrats is unrealistically high to expect to ever see before some major revolution in the world.
>>79844231
Dude, it isn't just the Democrats. It's both.
That's what an oligarchy is.
The Trump and Bernie phenomenon is most of the divided proletariat.
We both know we're fucked but they got us divided and most are Monday night football idiots and grindr cock suckered who don't care.
>nominating Trump
The GOP handed them the country on a silver platter. It's glorious.
>>79845780
If this shit continues we won't have a 2018. Next She will give out our nuclear arsenal codes.
>>79845780
>it's people, not the GOP's insanely rigged gerrymandering that's happened the last decade
Wew.
Pri in mexico did it
>>79846160
No it is the people. Turnout is very low in congressional elections.
>>79846160
Democrats haven't won the white vote since the sixties and they are pushing immigration to drown out republican votes. Gerrymandering evens the score out.
>have political party
>it's unpopular with the citizens
>import people from around the world giving them free shit to vote for your party
HOW THE FUCK DOESN'T THIS IMMEDIATELY CAUSE A CIVIL WAR IN EVERY COUNTRY?
This type of bullshit needs to be written down concretely to prohibit in any civilized nation.
>>79844231
uninterrupted 70 years of a corrupted party who make our country the shit is now, only lose 2 times with the right party and still won the last elections giving poor people money and free stuffs
>>79846669
White guilt. Jewish subversion
>>79844231
Moral Rubicon has been crossed on both sides. There is no backtracking at this point.
>>79844956
Heh, you cheeky breeki
>>79844231
That's what happens when you import millions of people who all vote one way and then pay them to shit out kids.
Same part has been in power in Japan since 1955 with almost no break
There are lots of countries like that
>>79846669
We need an IRA in America to fight off these loyalist foreigners.
ask us..65 years, the same political party
God bless syria! god bless al assad and the unique party!
>>79844231
Currently like that in Québec.
Liberal since 2003 and still rolling, the only exception being a
minority """Nationalist""" government that ruled for a year then triggered the elections.
>>79844231
Hillary Clinton literally just lost the election.
>>79847030
From what I hear, when this happens, it's usually because the party has somehow rigged the system to favor them, like the PRI in Mexico or the Communist Parties in Cuba, China, etc. but this isn't the case with Japan's LDP; they just actually kept winning for like 40+ years straight because the Japanese people fear change or just don't care enough or whatever. Nobody rigged anything, it had more to do with the attitudes of Japanese people; the LDP did well enough, so the Japanese saw no reason to change anything for like 50 years.
>republican party is far right
>democratic party is right wing
>still they present themselves as left wing to a nation that literally doesnt know anything about historic left wing parties (reminder that in the us socialism=ussr)
>hillary will fuck this up and the US will build even more hate towards lefties
This doesnt feel right.
>reminder that libertarians are doing the same thing by being right wing nuts while using the world "liberarian"
>>79844231
Peronism bruh
>>79847447
>no indictment
>HAH SHES FINISHED
>le increasingly delusional man shouts for 20th time this week
>>79847785
American "leftists" don't know what left-wing politics actually are, they don't care about economic issues and worker rights, instead they focus on identity politics bullshit. Democrats and Republicans are basically the same party apart from non-issues like gay marriage or abortion.
>>79848581
Duhhhhh. Can you say "controlled opposition"?
>>79846160
>implying dems don't gerrymander
Wew.
>>79844231
>>79846160
Both sides Gerrymander. Both sides commit vote fraud. It just happens that currently the republicans are better at the former while the democrats are better at the latter.
>>79848999
jesus
>>79848581
>American "leftists" don't know what left-wing politics actually are, they don't care about economic issues and worker rights, instead they focus on identity politics bullshit
So they're identical to the left in every Western country for the last 20-30 years then.
> Democrats and Republicans are basically the same party apart from non-issues like gay marriage or abortion.
Yup - just like the way the Conservatives and Labour (and Lib Dems) are identical in the UK. You'd really have to branch out to UKIP on right and Greens on left to find parties that genuinely have a big gap in world view and values. All the rest have the same basic views on everything.
>>79845145
Yes.

>It has continuously been in power since its foundation in 1955, with the exception of a brief 11-month period between 1993 and 1994, and from 2009 to 2012.
