We live in a world of mutually assured destruction dumbass. If the yanks ever go too crazy pulling shit, Russians/Chinese wouldnt think twice about firing multiple nukes at every major western city in the world. Some would possibly be intercepted, but some would definitely hit home. Civilization would be over.

Conventional military now is a just a cash cow for the military industrial complex. In 2016 military is more likely to be used on its own people than against a foreign enemy

Don't bother, by now everybody should know the nationalistic bullshit just serves to keep the country together.
What binds them together save 'MERICA?
Can't be proud of rotting cities, failed wars and the most expensively dressed yet ineffective fighting force in the world.

Besides when lacking bread the circus needs to be better, given the third world cirucmstances in many states the need for this sort of circus does not require much guesswork.

US policy is that any nuclear attack on a USN supercarrier is considered a nuclear attack on the US mainland. No one would nuke a carrier when it means getting their home country vaporized.

I don't know, but right now America is literally the hardest country to defeat ever. Our military is has an absurd edge on every country or possible groups of countries that could conceivably band together. There are are over 300,000,000 guns in America. Invading and occupying us is basically impossible. So, I don't know, but we closer to that point than any society I can think of. And we are mostly benevolent, which is incredible. We could take over huge countries and extort them if we wanted to but never would because we are also morally superior to most of the world.

Use nuclear retaliation over the loss of a boat.

If they're that bad then consider how there's a lot more nukes in the hands of non-americans that would gladly see you reduced to rubble.
That is what actual deterrence looks like; a deadlock of barking dogs.
>>
Yes, The U.S Military has the means to wipe out any military threat. The problem lies when we try to occupy a country because it's literally impossible. 10

all of them are nuclear-powered attack subs or nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines

while north korea might have 62 subs, but they are from the 50s and all diesel-electric with zero electronic equipment, our 6 attack subs would be way enough to defeat all of them, nuke subs are known to be undetectable to diesel submarines without computers to help them in the detection process.

Same goes for the Indian, turk, south korean and iranian navies, no nuclear subs, and their diesel submarines are old.

this top 10 is as retarded as those who say "North Korea third army in the world because they have more troops and equipment"
>>
>>79824290
Because that isn't happening.
>>
>>79821376
Yes, more aircraft carriers than the rest of the world combined means complete dominance of the seas and the skies and that means no ones going anywhere without US permission.

Also, recently the US experimented with knocking out satellites by simply reprogramming existing long range missiles to shoot satellites. (They said it had to be oblitarated because it was falling out of orbit, otherwise it's against international treaties signed by US not to do weapons testing in space). Anyways what this shows is that because the US has many ships all over the world that can shoot long range missiles, all of them can simply be reprogrammed with a software update to shoot down every other nations satellites out of orbit and that means no electronic communications for anyone.

The other bigger nations can also do this, but the results won't be the same. Why? Because you might of recently heard of the experiments that SpaceX has been doing with reusable rockets, and the US government also has been involved in these experiments. What the US has successfully tested is the ability to use a cheaper and reusable rockets to launch into space many smaller satellites that can replace any broken existing satellites.

So, complete domination on sea, in the air and in space, rest of the world's armies BTFO.
>>
>>79824401
...Except we'll do to them what we did to Russia.
Biggest economy on the planet falls away from your side and you might run into slight budgetary problems.

In more than a few senses the EU is closer to a slave master than the US, the US happily empty headedly tanks the problem of just about anything they think is a threat to "their" wealth while constantly declining, thriving on pride and delusions of justice.
The US has managed to acquire more enemies in the timespan of half a century than the european empires over several centuries, have you stopped to consider that maybe they're just being used as yet another tool that sacrifices its internal functioning for external power projection in favor of another group?
Sounds a lot like a vassal, doesn't it?
>>
>>79824519
Wow, you have such an infantile level of knowledge of our navy technology. I don't even know how to debate you, I feel like I might as well tell you we have superman fighting for us.

One destroyer could sink a fleet of your subs. One carrier could wage war against your entire country at once.

I'm actually in the navy, pet me give you some insight. A carrier battlegroup has some ships in it who's entire purpose is to detect and stop missile attacks before they get anywhere close. Over half of weapons research budgets are focused on anti-missile systems to protect larger ships. No amount of cruise missiles is going to get anywhere near a carrier battle group, our technology is decades ahead of anything anyone else has, except for the stuff we share with close allies.

Oh dear an ocean, what a huge obstacle.
Now if only someone had invented an easy way to pass over it.
Like, at the fucking dawn of civilization.
Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you could make use of these mythical "aeroplanes", i hear they can move you quite fast from one place to another.

>Your culture is a mimic
This is quite rich coming from a dude whose "culture" is at best derivative of ours but usually just trash.

Your lands are monotonous with worthwhile areas few and far in between, i regret to say i've ever spent time there; here one could travel on foot between one worthwhile place and the next, in the U.S. you need an airplane.
The claims of diversity too are similarly shortsighted; you've got two tastes in the U.S.: American and Mexican.
The rest is just as "diverse" as American "Chinese" food is Chinese.
There are singular cities here with more diversity than the U.S..

Well we're certainly not as foolishly aggressive as you, but then again we don't need to be told not to stick our faces in blenders.
How often did you repeat the mistakes of Vietnam now? Once? Twice? Thrice?
Afghanistan is a permanent war economy where all achievements have been nullified, Iraq blew up in your face over early and unfounded claims of victory, Libya has been armed against you completely, you've been left all but allyless in your so emphasized middle-east?

That you believe your country to stand the comparison between any European country in a positive light is proof enough of your ignorance.
>>
>>79825289
Yeah this is a myth. Russians track your fleet movements 24/7 and their nuclear submarines operate well below the depth limit of optical or radio waves.
Also 20mm cannon fires at 2,700ft/s whereas new Russio-Indian, Dutch, and French cruise missiles all travel at 3,000ft/s+ and have a window from horizon to hit that is less than a second and a half.
>>
>>79825447
>So is the Jap flag..

No I'm not, and you might be right but I think you're also underestimating the disclosed or undisclosed level of ASW that the US navy probably has.

I'm sure carriers specifically are more vulnerable than the US would like to admit but to say a single sub can destroy a carrier group on its own is basically making the claim that ASW is irrelevant and that subs are unsinkable.
>>
>>79825550
You think we don't also track their fleet movements 24/7?

Look up WHIZ on wikipedia. In fact just look up missile defense systems in general. Nothing any other country has is getting anywhere close unless they fire literally hundreds at once, and that many ships is going to attract a lot of attention and something will be done before they can do anything. The rules of engagement shit you see in the media is not how we do it in real situations. 99% of Navy captains tell their crews "your job is to keep this ship safe, if you feel even a small threat, you fire, let me deal with the brass and the media"

>>
>>79826001
>You think we don't also track their fleet movements 24/7?

You do but the difference is that carriers are seen as ultimate symbols of US force projection and are possibly very vulnerable to submarines. Russia doesn't have an equivalent force to you track and doesn't have anything you could destroy that would have as much of an impact.

Don't they only have a single shitty ""carrier"""" anyway

China's hacking is shit. The main reason they've had success is that there's so many of them, eventually they'll find a loophole somewhere. And the only thing that is stopping US retaliation is that the current administration is cucked beyond belief.

Now you might've seen US's ability to hack before with the Stuxnet virus, the first time in history that something in the software world was directly able to do physical harm. So no question that the US can hack.

I have been thinking about this for some time though, and what I would do is hack them back, but not just military secrets (since they've got none), but rather hacking their politicians. It doesn't have to be high level politicians because the CPC would be in full damage control, rather go after lower level politicians like mayors and governors and other pleb level officials. Now everyone knows China is corrupt so it won't take long to find evidence of corruption among the pleb politicians and after you've got evidence, leak it to the people of the city or province that the corrupt official belongs to in order to create social disorder in China. Do this every time that they are suspected of hacking and each time work our way up into higher and higher positions and more important cities and provinces.

The reason I say start at the bottom is so that the CPC is more likely to punish a corrupt pleb official and when they do that the leaks become trustworthy to the people and as the leaks reach higher level officials it's too late to simply dismiss them.

This would be intended to create a lot of social disorder in China and mistrust in the party. Maybe even make it so it seems the leaks came from other party members for maximum keks.

Anyway after some time they should get the hint.

Do you even know what tech your own military uses? Carrier groups have only SPY-1 radars and it's modification, and it hase huge fucking FOW like 2°, but also scan 1 time per 4 seconds.
P-800 missiles uses net connection if there's several of them nearby, have 2.5M speed and can change their trajectory pretty fast. Also have some shitty stealth tech, but not so good as US ones.

On long distances carrier group can simply lost the rockets. SM-1 can't do shit with that speed, SM-2 can shot down P-800, but only if they're lucky on trajectory, because there's too high speed to maneuver. Also P-800 have EW on close range like changing EM potential, so for SM-2 (which lead by SPY-1) target will be blurry.

And now imagine 24 missiles zerg rush of that crap.

The main problem is that US ships using same radar for observing and targeting. It's like man with HUGE field of view, but also extremly blurry short sight.

All these people arguing about nukes. The rest of the world is falling behind America when it comes to fast strike capability and middle defense. Every year Natos boarder moves cfurther east and missles and middle sites are being built in Eastern Europe. Think about how close our missiles are to Russia and China compared to how far their missiles are. A lot more time for us to intercept missiles and a lot less time for them to react to our preliminary strike. That's an advantage no matter how you look at it, and in the next 20 years that advantage is going to increase and who knows in the future relations may get to the point that we decide to pull the trigger. Not saying some nukes wouldn't make it to the homeland but that's probably what WWIII will be like.

We, as Europeans, should be proud for creating this nation. We are the true Master race.

During some recent joint military exercises, a single (fr) submarine "sunk" a carrier and its whole escort.
Subs are a great threat for carriers.

>america treats attack on their ships as an attack on the mainland
>so if they use these ships for any form of combat, and get fired back upon, they treat it as an act of war
>if america use one of these ships for anything remotely close to use in a war, they will literally start a war with people more than happy to retaliate with their own missiles and ICBMS

Nice trophy boats.

Typical Swedish cuck.

I went to Stockholm last summer.

Stars and stripes flying over many traditional buildings and government institutions.

What is wrong with you idiots.

Where is your nationalism.

Please kill yourselves by choking on your master's cock.

Nothing against USA except globalist Jew infiltration.

Everything against cucked sissys like you, Sweden.

Die.

Die now.

I think we like to overestimate our abilities a lot. But we could certainly do a number on most of the world.
