>from deserter to volunteer to cheating to get home
>from internationalist to francophile to italian nationalist
>from catholic to atheist to catholic to atheist to catholic

Does this guy have ANY identity, or did he just say whatever would make him more popular at the time?

He changes his opinions and stances depending on how the wind is blowing. He's the perfect career politician.

He was the epitome of Italian character. Constantly switching positions but ending on the based side in the end.

it's almost like he developed his political philosophy with the years, this might be a shocker for bulgarian """intellectuals""" I guess
>>
>>79732965

He was probably the best Fascist leader, but those hooligan jackasses never give him much attention because he wasnt as theatrical or anti-semetic as uncle adolf, so its hard for them to pay attention to him

this

plenty of people throughout history like this, especially in France during revolutionary times

like it or not, it made them powerful people.

you know, it's kind of funny how, from what i can see, lots of would-be /pol/ idols have been like this, but nationalists (read: /pol/) as a voter base have always kept true to their beliefs. modern leftists can rag on the right wing all they want, but the sheer devotion to the cause of more right-leaning individuals just speaks volumes for how much they care for the state of their nation.

the way I see it his constant jumping from ideology to ideology in his youth wasn't a bad or disloyal thing, it resulted in the accumulation of knowledge and enabled him to construct the greatest and most advanced school of thought ever to come in to existence
when something is flawed you should improve upon it - which is exactly what he did in his fathering of fascism
fascism takes the hardcore traditionalist cultural values of the right and combines it with a more progressive form of economics that somehow manages to incorporate all of the populist qualities of socialism while still adhering to a relatively free market, that manages to negate all of the degeneracy that capitalism creates while still allowing a hard worker to accumulate wealth
you can't do that without having a lot of experience from all corners of the political spectrum

Mussolini did cause an exodus of Cosa Nostra members and other crime syndicates more common in Southern Italy. A lot of them fled to America when he ordered a crackdown on the Mafia. A number of socialists and Marxists were also driven from Italy to America and Argentina, including the parents of Pope Francis
