My parents forced me to go to (Catholic) church, but I never bought any of it. I mean, I learned the words of the prayers and the Nicene Creed but I never actually believed any of it was truth.
One of the best days of my childhood was the day when my mother told us we didn't have to go to church anymore if we didn't want to (all us kids stopped that day).
The funny thing is my parents stopped going to church a few years ago and I didn't even learn about it till recently. My dad made the comment that it's "hard to believe in" the church anymore.

Well the church I went to as a kid was always open if someone wanted to pray but there were a lot of people there on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

I'm still catholic, but man, the church has gone to shit. We have a marxist cuck for a pope, and enough has already been said about that. But what's more, I just feel that there's no longer any "spark" in the catholic church, even here at home.
I go to mass every sunday. But the entire thing has been completely watered down. The priests aren't like the ones we used to have. Priests used to actually say important shit that might ACTUALLY be negative or uncomfortable inconvenient truths. But now? They take the path of least resistance and just say some feel-good platitudes about love. They don't fight for ANYTHING as our traditional faith crumbles beneath our feet.
What's more, there are so many shit-tier priests coming from the 3rd world. Beaners, flips, and pooinloos. I feel no connection in faith with these people. There's no sense of camaraderie when some indian rolls into town as the new priest and just talks about watered-down milquetoast bullshit about loving jesus.
