Fucking this. Parents are still together (which is not common in my circle) and spoiler, my mom is very religious.
It certainly doesn't help that I don't believe in God, so finding a religious and devout qt would be hard.

I am actually in the same boat (Whore Mother ran off with a friend of mine, long story), but for myself I make sure to be a good role model, which means a lot of my vices are only for after they go to bed (aka Vidya, T.V. Shows or shit-posting on /pol/)
I limit the amount of time they play video games and watch TV and stick to the ratings. I promote playing sport and good sportsmanship and also sticking up for themselves. I also try and teach them good morals through stories and explain to them as much detail I think they can handle when they ask me about things that are pretty tough topics to talk about.
I am also lucky in my regards since I have a pretty awesome Mum who basically picked up the slack after their mother left and basically became a surrogate Mother for them. So if you have that kind of opportunity certainly do not be afraid to leverage your parents, too many people have forgotten that the family unit used to be Mother, Father, Kids and Grand-Parents and that most of the time they are happy to give you a hand.
