Get them the help they need, and this stops being an issue.
The problem is that even if "none of these" gets the most votes, chances are all the other options together are still more than the one option that negates all of them. This means that one would conclude that the majority of voters want some kind of change to gun laws which involves some kind of restriction.

If people place no more thought into the occasional meeting with a psychiatrist than they do on going for a physical then we can greatly improve the lot of the mentally ill, and allow them to lead normal lives.

That stigma is long fucking gone dude maybe not for people with dementia or schizophrenia or whatever else to a high degree like that. But when was the last time you saw a facebook post about someone being depressed? When was the last time you saw a school without a consular? when was the last time you saw somebody not on some form or another meds?when was the last time you saw someone use autism in a meme or joke ironically? Ya that stigma is still there for more intense stuff and its never going away. People are never going to ignore that stuff its always going to be a label and you are a retard it if you think otherwise.
