No. Before colonialism there were still warring states and tribes and untold numbers of them conquering themselves. Just in this case the conquerors came from another continent. If you were to 'compensate' for conquering x number of tribes then those people should also now compensate other tribes/people they conquered and you'd never really get anywhere.

They are already compensated well enough. Aboriginal villages exist in rural areas where everyone takes money from the Government and the whole community lives off welfare. They are on par with developing countries. The inhabitants take care of nothing, they let it all break and then ask the Government to fix it.
Additionally, there are plenty of Aboriginal land trusts that get royalties from mining under the guise of "redirecting funds to the community", but I'll give you 3 guesses to figure out how effective that system is and how much money the average Aboriginal the trust purports to represent actually sees of that money.

The "aboriginal" people europeans encountered were definately NOT the first inhabitants or culture of the continent. The continent has a history of invasion and colonisation going back to its earliest inhabitation.
The earliest remains are phenotypically very different to modern "aboriginals". There are also remains of many varied populatins, such as very short and very gracile peoples, who were later replaced.
There were at least 3 waves of settlement. the most recent we know of is a large influx of southern asian genes about 4000years ago , at the time of the inteoduction of the dingo.
The pama nyungan lanuages correlate very closely with backed stone tools, and suggest that 7/8 of australia was far more linguistically diverse, until it was colonised recently by pama-nyungan speakers. Non pama nyungan languages are only found in the far morth of wa and nt, and correlate with bifacial stone tools. "Noongars" are therefore relatively recent invaders of southern populations, and do not have an "ancestral spiritual" connection to land.
Incidentally, the pama nyungan backed tools are similar to backed tools found in sulawesi, Indonesia, dting to several thousand years ago. While much later in time, this also haooens to be the area fishermen historically came from to catch trepang and trade with aboriginals in nirthern austrralia.
