I only made it about 30 seconds onto the first one. In the beginning there was a disclaimer for purge rules which declared certain politicians immune. Turned it off right after that.

I'd probably try to buy a couple acres in the middle of the desert. Sell tickets stay the night 'purge free'. Anyone who doesn't want to deal with all the roving bands of murderers can bring their family and friends. We'd erect some mounds and barbed wire at the corner, block off the entrance, erect some floodlights around the perimeter, then shoot anyone who approaches.
