Around this time I had also started reading news papers, but my parents are lefties so the only paper I had available was the guardian, so I would find myself reading a lot of feminist opinion pieces, and thinking they were bullshit, so I watched a few antifem videos also.
This went on for a few years, then I discovered Sargon of akkad who I found at the time went into more detail, and made more convincing points about feminism than TJ, so I began watching his videos more and more, and through his coverage of gamergate I began to think. If this part of media is so disingenuous then what about the mainstream news? After this I started to realise the lies that we're all expected to believe that are propagated by the (((media))), and I found myself agreeing with positions that years earlier I would have called myself a racist for holding, but now I realise are the truth.

I was a liberal for years, raised in MA in a Unitarian family. I worked for the Kerry Campaign, and I even went to go see Obama's 1st inauguration in person, because I wanted to see history made.
I have been working in EMS since 2006, and coming from a privileged background, I was initially shocked when I first saw the day-to-day lives of the poor, and the cycle of atrocious decision-making that leads them into poverty and keeps them there.
The thing that really started me down the road to my eventual red-pilling was the Michael Brown issue and the birth of BLM. Working in public safety left me with no illusions about the racism that pervades the field, but it's also pretty apparent to anybody working in the field that there is a miles-wide gap between not liking black people and wanting to wantonly kill them execution-style just because you can.
This subtlety was lost on the left, and I began to notice just about every other way in which they exaggerated and obfuscated the facts in order to push their agenda.
It then became clear to me that all attempts at identity politics were nothing but a distraction from the left, to draw their seething masses of poor voters as well as their educated liberal ideological attack dogs off of the fact that Obama's economic policies were no different from Dubya's, and that nobody outside of the top 10% of earners was doing better in 2014 than they were in 2007.
Once I started exploring exactly what they might be distracting people from, I stumbled on issues such as heritable differences in IQ between the races and the Jewish-led strip-mining of western societies and economies through fiat currencies and media-promoted degeneracy.
