I started uni and had to do a lot of reading to get through, which i found very difficult to do while high, so naturally it was in my best interest to not be smoking during the week. now i try to only do it when im socialising. also, microdosing is good. have the tiniest bit, take a tiny portion then halve again it and have that, that way your brain wont be too foggy.
you'll only cut down if you have something to replace it or a clear incentive not to do it. the problem is that smokers think "everythings cool" when in fact theyve been more or less high every waking moment for the last 3 years and their whole life fell apart around them without them noticing.

After I quit, I began to feel sharp again. My memory still isn't the best, but I'm beginning to think that's just me, vice any side effects. That said, as soon as I stopped, I began to be intellectually more agile.
I smoked about a joint a day for ~4 years. Quit cold turkey about three months ago. No serious reason for quitting, just felt I owed it to myself to see what I felt like while sober.
It has made me realize how much weed impairs my day to day functioning. Not in a major way, but man, I was living in a haze for no good reason. Now I can wake up early, I'm feeling more motivated, and way more clear-headed.
I still like weed and I'll probably smoke recreationally in the future, but smoking every day will fuck you up man.
