Are there even undocumented veterans?
You gain citizenship by graduating basic training.
So I don't see how someone could be a veteran but be undocumented unless they got kicked out of the military, didn't graduate Basic training or got caught doing some other crime that caused them to have citizenship revoked.

You get American citizenship for serving. At the end of my basic training, they gave multiple non-citizens their citizenship.
