I had this problem and it was severe. I would never start the issue but I would never give in and his Dissident=Nazi=Evil programming meant that I lost a father.
I grew to accept this. He is of a generation that wrecked mine, and is going to die out without dignity. Our generation will write history and it will not be kind to them.
