They're not fucked at all.
1. The negociations are not to start before a while.
2. Most of the things will remain for at least until the end of the negociations which could last up to 2 years.
On the very short term, i.e. tomorow, markets could remain in turmoil.
But they are just one part of the economy.
Problems will start if the turmoils last more than 2 weeks, meaning there are no rational political solutions on both side of the Channel.
If there is no dialogue in a month, there you'll be fucked. This means that nobody is willing to mend fences and open the dialogue. THis would lead to a long period of uncertainty, until PM is elected.
Why uncertainty is bad?
Because Investors invest only when they know how to invest: for a growing economy, for a shrinking one or for a zero growth depending on the interest rate and returns.
When signs aren't clear, they don't invest as much.
This is important because investments is an important part of the spenidngs, thmselves directly correlated with jobs available within a period (trimester, semester or year) and setting the trend for the next period.
THis is also why those possible referundum from Scotts and NI are actually bad.

Because there is less money expected to be made in the UK now. You can't tell that , everything else being equal that you are to make the same amount of money once Brexit is effective. Markets are anticipating that fact.
