What is the point? I mean, I hope western civilization crumbles, I really do, but the "alt-right" and such never give any solid reasons as to why men should save western civilization in the first place.

I've been on /pol/ for years, watching people change their beliefs over and over and over again.
One thing I noticed, is that history doesn't change. This "new western civilization" is based on liberal values. Watch an "alt right" watch a youtube video about white privilege. They don't want to hear it, because they don't like that the ideas they have (individual liberties and rights) crumble because black people are treated like shit in western society. They'll say things like "I was bullied for being white", but institutional racism favors white people. They don't understand this. Most national socialists don't understand this either, because they're still holding onto their liberal values.
In the beginning was a family, and the family grew and became a people. The people valued eachother and themselves, respecting the superior roles and the inferior roles, that no man was equal, and that we all had honour to uphold, the honour of a king, the honour of a farmer, the honour of a fisherman and of a knight. Honour was something everyone had, no matter how low that honour was, it was still something that one was required to have. To the Japanese, any merchant, no matter their race or religion, was seen as a greedy person, because they weren't part of the social hierarchy of Japan. In the west, likewise, intersectionalism was deemed "greedy" or "immoral". if you weren't part of the social hierarchy, you were below a peasant, even if you were a king.
If you want to save the True western civilization, you would have to re-establish a social hierarchy, through ritual (religion), politics (nation), brotherhood (gendered conversation), and family (race). You have to be a master of propriety and conformity; you have to establish honour, become honourable, and hold that honour, even if it were like defending the worst argument. If you don't bend, you won't break. That's what honour is.

You have made up this vague description of western civilization in your mind and are confused because it sometimes fits and sometimes contradicts the current state of the west.
The point of saving western civilization is to uphold the principles that underlie it. Since western civilization itself has transformed over the centuries, it means different things to different people. Personally, I would suggest going with the original values that birthed and supported western civilization in the first place, ones in my opinion most akin to classical liberalism (not the bullshit liberalism touted in the west today).
If you do not know the principles you are fighting for on a deep level, you are not saving anything. You are merely drifting back and forth between a perceived establishment and a perceived opposition while serving as a pawn in the game of whomever chose to play.
