I'm a Propertarian. I hate AnCaps. So many of them are multiculti cucks.

I sentence structure also statist?
There's nothing wrong with it. It's just not possible. You can't engineer a society in a way that satisfies your autism.

How is there nothing wrong with it if it doesn't work.

It was only a few years ago. Also, what exactly is wrong with nationalist (closed-borders) libertarianism?

It's dumb. You need strong authoritarian laws domestically as well as internationally.

Such as? The U.S. (and much of the West) didn't have "strong authoritarian laws" for most of its history.

Looking at the other posts in this thread, no

You need agreements that make sense, not authority. Do you drive on the right side of the road because of authority, or because it makes sense? Do you pay for your food because of authority, or because commerce makes sense? Do you think that your civilization was made because of authority, or because it makes sense?
People are actually pretty clever.
You see why people don't follow the rules sometimes is because for them, it doesn't make sense.
>>78865575
It is. I just like triggering people.
>>78865575
Not really. It is true in some sense, but people already pay for those things through taxes so she's not really making the deep and insightful point she thinks she's making.

They sort of did. What would you consider hanging, witch burning, duels, slavery, indentured servitude.
>>78865828
I would add to this that you need strong families to prevent the kind of degeneracy /pol/ is against, something the state has totally destroyed

Never said that, though the vast majority of people would naturally want to live in a nonviolent society.

To bad they can't enforce that desire collectively then in some sort of organization called "the government" to ensure everyone abides by those desires.

The fact that state societies destroyed non state societies millennia ago is proof that ancaps are retards.

Yeah. Me and others would probably steal and shoplift more if we know we aren't going to get arrested
>Do you drive on the right side of the road because of authority
I don't speed and follow most other traffic laws because of authority.
>Do you think that your civilization was made because of authority,
There's a reason most early civs had extremely draconian laws. You need them to keep people in check.
>People are actually pretty clever.
You see why people don't follow the rules sometimes is because for them, it doesn't make sense.

They could under Heathian anarchism, which is basically just private city states. Libertarians are against the monopoly aspect of the state, not its role. Also, what Stirnerite believes in government, th ultimate spook?
>>78866421
>Yeah. Me and others would probably steal and shoplift more if we know we aren't going to get arrested
You would get arrested though. All ancaps and libertarians believe in a police force, just perhaps not a state one

We have the death penalty today. That's a form of punishment, not a "law". You really struggle with reading comprehension, don't you?
>>78866430
>private city states
not really anarchy then is it?
More like Feudalism
>Stirnerite believes in government
You don't have to be a Stirnerite to understand that government force is the only thing that ensures law and stability in a geographic region.
The point is that there are people like Stirner who don't give a fuck about your dumb ideals and will just kill you if they felt it profited them.
>>78866098
>I would add to this that you need strong families to prevent the kind of degeneracy /pol/ is against, something the state has totally destroyed
I agree, but you also need a strong state to preserve the family.

>>78866579
>All ancaps and libertarians believe in a police force, just perhaps not a state one
I think what you meant to say is roving militias/death squads. If you want to see what private police forces look like go to somalia.
>>78866806
>not really anarchy then is it?
Not in the conventional sense, but it is seen as a form of free-market anarchism as people would ideally have freedom of association.
>You don't have to be a Stirnerite to understand that government force is the only thing that ensures law and stability in a geographic region
Try actually reading Stirner, or try to comprehend what I said.
>>78866735
Do you not understand what a punishment is? Punishments are laws themselves. Punishments are codified, enforced, voted on, and repealed. They are exactly like laws.
>>78866951
England had private police for a very long time and more recently some cities have experimented with it. A private police force protecting a designated area =/= Somalia
>>78867094
Again, reading comprehension really isn't your strong suite. The law is"no raping", not "hanging". Hanging is the punishment for raping. Lots of libertarians are in favor of the death penalty for certain crimes. Amazing that these basic concepts are totally over your head

So why is it that during sentencing a judge doesn't just choose any punishment. I'm pretty sure in every U.S. there is no judge that could sentence someone to hang. You know why? Because hanging is an illegal form of punishment.
