Visited Dubrovnik and Split. I can't speak for the rest of it, but Dubrovnik is one of the nicest places I've been. Everyone seemed pretty nice, for some reason they all gave massive student discounts, even when they didn't need to (I.e. people selling the tickets gave discounts for no reason or even let us in for free when we expected to pay full).
