Face it, Zimmerman confronted the kid, started a fight when he didn't like the answers the kid gave, and then shot Trayvon when he started fighting back.

And we can be murderous assholes when the need arises. There are reveneours that went in on land owned by my kin and never came out again. Long before my time, though.
Most blacks in the inner cities were lured there by the promise of jobs and low cost government supplied housing. As the jobs dried up, they found themselves trapped there, dependent on JBJ's "Great Society" welfare and mostly unable to escape.
In Appalachia, if you had nothing else, you could still hunt and grow some of your own food. The inner city dweller had no such options.
