It's clear many in these countries are calling for referendums.

What's less clear is if it will happen, and when.
>>
>>78787035
In the case of France, Marine Le Pen has said many times, and way before any talks of a british referendum, that if elected she would trigger a FREXIT referendum in the first 6 months if she couldn't agree with the EU to get France's sovereignty back.

After Brexit she met with president François Hollande and asked him for a referendum and he said it was out of the question.
>>

Yeah and it's the smaller nationalist parties calling for Referendums which they've no doubt already been doing, it's just now they have more visibility.

The process takes time, they'll have to discuss in their parliament and then decide to do one or not, and then plan it in which'll take probably close to a year minimum.
>>
>>78787930
In the UK what caused the referendum to go ahead is one of the more national leaning parties (UKIP) who have been promising one, got a huge increase in support, not enough to win but enough to scare the other sides into appeasing their supporters.

If france and places like that want a referendum the best thing they can do is come out in support of their nationalist parties come the next general election and scare the shit out of the establishment, that'll get them what they want.

Fuck, I sincerely hope so. Brexiteers are the ones who will lead the europe towards a brighter future, no matter what the mainstream media or the EU officials IT will become a reality in the near future, that way I can be more certain that what we leave behind for our kids is something valuable and truly independent.

I'm afraid it will not work like that. The FN actually needs to win the presidential elections and probably the legislative ones to get things going towards certain Frexit. While support is always good, it will come to naught if they don't win. So until the FN gets that 50.1% in the second round of the presidential elections (and it's unlikely to tell the truth, unless Marine comes up against Hollande) then we'll stay in EU ship until it sinks.

They're basically the biggest parties in France and The Netherlands right now. Not sure about the others.

I heard it was pretty likely from polls that Marine Le Pen will win the next election.

Is this likely?
>>
Yes.

In the way that you set yourselves on fire to prove to everyone else that "fire doesn't hurt!"

Now you'll burn, and everybody else will learn not to put themselves on fire.

The EU thanks you for saving it with your selfless act of self-destruction.

Your economic ruin will mean the end of the "leave"-nonsense in the rest of Europe.

It's unlikely. There are two round of elections in France. The first round is a round of many parties. It's likely (but not set in stone) that she will reach the second round of the elections. The second round has only the two parties with the highest results (unless one party gets 51% in the first round then the second round disappears, but this won't happen). In that scenario, if Marine Le Pen is in the second round, it will depend heavily on her opposition. As per the latest polls, she would edge it if it's current president Hollande (Socialist Party), but she would definitely lose against the conservative right.

Forgot to mention that it's unlikely that François Hollande gets on the second round as the picture points out. Hollande will even have to get past his own party primaries apparently.
