How many of you have lost "friends" over this referendum. I've lost one good friend (He bought into the whole racist, xenophobic nonsense and hasn't contacted me or the other 4 of our very close friends group from Secondary School since the referendum was announced (even though 2 of the other guys were Remain voters just not retarded butthurt racist criers).

I've also lost a fair few FaceBook 'friends' over it but that's not really a worry. I've actually gained a few FaceBook friends, old primary school friends that were leave voters and wanted to share some bants

Labour are already the 3rd party in Scotland. Let's see how long it takes before they become the 3rd party overall, competing with Tim "excuse me, who the fuck are you again" Farron for scraps from the UKIP/BoJo table.

We're not gonna leave aren't we? Jesus christ.

This is like a bad fucking dream, the government needs to invoke article 50 RIGHT FUCKING NOW, NO GOING BACK.

Don;t mind if our economy takes a massive hit, for me it's worth it for liberating Europe, no country ever comes out unscathed from going to war, but the entire establishment is still against Brexit.

This is really fucking bad. Netherlands or France needs to hold referendum asap and get out and join us.

>Shes a lawyer so surely she wouldn't make this claim if it was untrue.
You don't know much about the legal system or lawyers in general, do you? Making up shit about the constitution isn't a crime.

Also there's not going to be any more devolution. She tried to go crying to the EU and the EU told her to get lost.

This is just her attempt to push that off the front pages, to get her base to believe that she can get independence before we leave the EU.

She could try to veto it, but IIRC the veto literally doesn't work that way. It was designed to allow devolved regions to join the EU (if they would have them, which they won't) in the event of an independent Britain, not to stop Britain from leaving as a whole.

Besides, we can leave without invoking Article 50. It would be a disaster, but it's more likely than us being held hostage by some smacked-up jock cucks who are desperate for their snackbar cum rations.

I'm expecting it will not be until Ocotber or November that article 50 is invoked.

Might be for the better, this absolute clown fiesta of our country needs to get sorted out before we do this. It needs to be done right, and done well, to set an example for the rest of Europe that this can be done and our country really is a world leader.

Scotland would need to re-apply for EU membership which would take years. By that time, Scotland would be in financial ruin and have riots (Greece is just a handy example of what happens when you go from 1st world to barely 2nd world overnight). They're bluffing They cannot inherit UK's membership. Whatever they say, ignore, it's just posturing by political corpses.

The remnants of the dead Conservative party and the Blairites can reform as a hundred different new Centrist parties to varying degrees of success.

>>78786226
They can't, but that's what they're hoping for. They're desperately trying to get independence before we leave. It's their only hope of EU membership.

The UK is a member of the EU, not Scotland.
If the UK leaves before Scotland declares independence, they would have to reapply for membership as an external member. They fail to meet several of the criteria, and Spain/Belgium would veto them anyway. That would guarantee that an independence referendum would fail, so the SNP would fucked twice (no EU and no independence).

She's desperately hoping (despite being told to fuck off by the EU) that the EU will allow them to join as an independent state while the rest of the UK (minus Scotland) is still in the EU. That's her last hope.

Tbqh, the Scots have been played brilliantly here. No independence and no EU. They realise this, and that's why you're seeing so much vitriol and butthurt online.
