I was wondering, does a software exist which can accurately predict results of military battles ? I am am not talking about war simulator games, I talking about a platform that uses neural networks to analyze data of previous battles and accordingly predict outcomes of upcoming military battles. Let's you have Army A and Army B, you insert all parameters of soldiers, weapons, bullets, vehicles, airplanes, naval etc of Army A and B, then you add variables like weather conditions, geological conditions of the battlefield and then the network would analyze data of similar battles and predict accurate results of the outcome. Thoughts on a software like that ?

That's the original reason the military funded and built computers

Yeah...
Good luck with that without knowing all the variables.

>without knowing all the variables.

>what is intelligence

You are wrong, burger-sensei, computers were developed so the navy could masturbate to cheap gay porn.

Yes, that software has existed since 1967.

BTW, it has been determined that you are a casualty of the last attack. Kindly step into the disintegration chamber before tomorrow noon.

You wouldn't know all the variables. Intelligence is not 100% accurate.
There probably exists some software that can in some way predict the results of some battles, however it would not be very accurate.
It'll eventually happen but I doubt it exists today.

Implementing a single-layer neural network which predicts French military successes based on previous feed is actually a simple task for Computer Science initiates. For a country-insensitive solution one should probably go further than the network that mastered Go, though.

Agree, there would be many flaws within the software, but I was thinking that the software would be used for situations like Navy Seals vs ISIS for example, where the variables would be more predicatble(I highly doubt ISIS would use fighter jets) not USA vs Russia type of battles.

It would be more useful for scenarios like this

>100 Navy seals vs 100 ISIS fighters
>Each seal has a success score from 0-10 based on their previous missions and experiences
>Then calculate the median success of each ISIS fighter by previous battles
>Then add variables like guns, bullets, heavy weaponry etc
>Add data like weather, terrain etc
>Get a predictable outcome like : 58% probability that the navy seals would win the battle

Sure, but they have to route the neural networks through a C# GUI interface adapter. The results are processed through a real-time nano daemon, which is then uploaded to the cloud and hyperlinked by artificial intelligences.

What is with this pro-ISIS shit?

But seriously, no, each soldier would have a success score based on their previous missions/battles which would be calculated within the neural network

Yes, and how do we determine the exact outcome, position, and economical availability of past wars.

Also you see to think neural networks are magical.

Protip they are not.
>Pic Related - I know how they work.
