Iceland is literally poorer than Afghanistan and North Korea. (In case youre wondering who makes up the other 80 countries under North Korea, its basically Africa)

That list isn't done by population. There are 332,529 in Iceland and there are 32 million in Afghanistan.

GDP per capita is a better measurement of national wealth because it takes population into account.
