Should a conservative white male be dressed in anything less than a nice dress shirt and pants unless he's exercising or getting ready for bed?
>>
Check shirts are not dress shirts. A dress shirt is a shirt that has a starched stiff front held together with studs, single cuffs to be work with links, and a banded collar to be worn with a starched stiff wing collar.
>>
>>78641499
>let me use my own arbitrary autism definition instead of commonly accepted definition of what 'dress shirt' is
>>
>>78640980
That's just a plain button-up shirt. Similar to what I wore today for casual Friday, along with slacks and a nice pair of Italian leather shoes.

The standards for men's dress has fallen so low it's just embarrassing, casual sports clothing are now called dress clothing and dress clothing are very rarely worn.
Suits and ties are traditional western clothing, the fact that we abandoned is just one more part of our culture that we have abandoned. No longer do we see distinct tailoring from Italy, Germany, Britain or America but now everyone is in the same pair of jeans and tee shirt.
These are two teenagers on a date, even adult men now can't dress like this when going our for dinner, never mind being expected to put on a dinner jacket (called that because it was to be worn after 6) it's sad and really shows the decline in our culture.
>>
>>78641693
It's commonly accepted that men can cut off their penis and be called a woman, it doesn't mean it's right.
>>78641867
Italian is very over rated, just buy a pair of made in America Allen Edmonds
>>
>>78640980
Nah, as long as you wear something fitted and don't look like a bag of trash and/or homosex.
>>
>>78642198
I can't take a man who goes outside in a tee shirt (underwear) or in jeans (working clothes) seriously, unless he can't afford a nicer wardrobe.
>>
>>78641499
i read this as cuck shirts

shit
>>
>>78642908
Those types of shirts are popular with the "creative" liberal types, but I know I'm extremely conservative with the way I dress.
>>
>>78641947
no point in dressing nice for a date when today's women are straight up trash and not really worth your time and effort

>>

>>78642281
Oy vey why won't the goyim buy six different shirts and jackets to change in and out of over the course of the day like they used to?
>>
>>78644713
How many t shirts do you already own? Do you need so many jackets? I would say a charcoal suit and a navy suit is more than enough, just change up the outfit with a new necktie.
Besides, nice clothes are cheaper than trashy modern designer clothes. My made in Italy blazer is $100 and my made in Canada shirt is $50, the shoes if you buy western made would be more expensive.

I really want to start dressing nice, but Im a farmer, so I need something practical, and I cant even change clothes between working and going to town or something since its so far that I always need to do some work even when going for social reasons, so any nice clothing ends up dirty and torn.

I do try and look good when going out just for social events, but that very rare, so usually I end up in jeans (or shorts in the summer), boots and khaki button up shirt, which is the standard uniform of farmers here. pic related

Im I doomed to look like a manual laborer for ever? Are there any nice clothing that I can wear while still being able to load a sack of animal feed on the pickup?

Ive went to /fa/, but that place is kind of weird. And I dont trust their fashion since after seeing pics of them.
>>
When not working out a man should be garbed in a bespoke suit. Nothing more, nothing less.
>>
>>78646145
It's good that your shirt at least includes a collar I think, if you can't dress nicely all the time because of your job that's not a problem at all.
I don't think there's really anything, especially in the hot African weather traditional hard wearing work clothes would be impractical there with the hot weather.
/fa/ looks kind of weird to me, like hipsters I just prefer the more old fashioned styles I guess, my grandpa influenced my style a lot he never left home without a jacket on.
I come from a colder environment, where even in summer if it's plus 30 you can still wear a full shit because it's windy enough to keep cool, so I have no idea how id dress in an environment like Africa
>>
>>78646145
Question for everyone: What conservative dress can I wear when it is 36° Celsius (niggerhot for americans). I will just sweat like a pig and the result will be much worse.
>>
Wear whatever you want. No one cares. What are you, a hipster?
>>
>>78646305
Bespoke can be very expensive to some, I think at the very least just buying a jacket off the peg is enough for most people and honestly if you have an average body you would look fine even without bespoke and maybe minimal tailoring.
For something like a tuxedo or formalwear you should always go bespoke if you can, I think this is the one time you want to splurge a little because it's something worn for special occasions. Especially if you get a morning coat or dress coat you should always go bespoke to get the perfect fit. For sports jackets in tweed I don't think it's really necessary since they're more casual anyway
>>
>>78640980
as long as its baggy and not fitted like those faggy nu "male" you see in cities.

tight clothes are for cuckolds and faggots who wants to crush their balls so they will become eunuchs.
>>
What's the point? I like beanies, flanel shirts and ripped jeans
>>
>>78646625
Just use lighter materials if you find wool too heavy, I can wear in 30 degrees a cotton undershirt, a cotton shirt and a wool jacket and I'm fine. But if it's really hot often you might want to find a wool jacket that's completely unlined, or go for a lighter material like cotton, I wouldn't really recommend linen because it's very casual and can look kind of wrinkled and not too elegant but if you like that kind of look id say go for a linen jacket.
>>
somebody post a expectations - reality neckbeard shaming image, will be fun.
>>
>>78646880
I like traditional fit shirts with a little more room, shirts these days are cut so tight that you can't even bend over in them. Jackets should fit the body though, but those are made really tight and short too, for me the 1950's ivy sack suit is my ideal
>>
>>78646625
wear an undershirt to control sweat, it also stops your deodorant from ruining your dress shirt.
>>
implying I dont wear nice FXD work pants, steel cap boots and a nice company jumper because it's winter

stay fat and ugly desk jockeys
>>
>>78647248
It might sound weird, but I'd actually recommend an undershirt with short sleeves, you will sweat for sure but the under shirt sleeves will catch the sweat instead of your nice shirt. Only on the absolute hottest days do I wear a sleeveless undershirt
>>
>>78640980
Yeah. Meme shirts are fun. I want everyone to know how fucking cool I am for wearing a Planet Express shirt.
>>
>>78647420
Undershirts with sleeves are the only kind I wear. Just the protection from your deodorant is crucial to business casual or formal wear.
>>
>>78642053

A dress shirt is literally a shirt worn with a dress coat, that is an evening tailcoat. That's why it's called a dress shirt it's worn for formal occasions.
>>78647795
I prefer plain white or pinstripe shirts personally, when I see fancy check shirts I just imagine some guy in a suit made for an anorexic or some hipster who can't lift a 5 pound dumbbell, and theres really is nothing conservative about it, it's a more modern design.
>>
>>78641947
ok dude

as far as the common person goes, we dress better than ever before. only nobility had access to anything but dirty rags as recently as 300 years ago, and even then most commoners were not walking around in nicely trimmed waistcoats. so for about 3 decades in the 20th century, middle class men wore (badly fitting, cheap) suits and you think we're somehow in a decline because we don't do that anymore. you can dress well without being an autistic suit fedora. no one needs to wear a suit unless they're at work, in a higher office.

>>
>>78646145
Rock the good old classic jeans and flanno with a belt and work books. You'll be right mate and adjust for the various season, shorter sleeves for summer.

While I wasn't a farmer but a greensman it was practical for me at the time

I have tried countless brands and the one I landed on was Calvin Klein. It's all about the feel of the material and the way the neck of the shirt fits for me. You can get them for a pretty good price at Macy's or whatever your equivalent is there. It's all personal opinion really.

Of course the suits are modern, men's clothing changes more slowly and since the 1950's the suit has pretty much been unchanged except for a few little details like shoulder padding, side vents becoming more popular, lapel widths changing and now the Ivy League style sack suit is pretty much extinct except at J Press

If you're publicly espousing conservative values and opinions, it's your duty to look respectable. The sad reality is that conservatism of any kind is associated with toothless hillbillies by many, so your appearance is a majorly contributing factor to how people perceive you, i.e. whether you're taken seriously.

Groom yourself, eat well, work out, have a smart casual wardrobe including a blazer/sport jacket/dinner jacket, button down shirts, khakis/stretch pants (whatever you call them in your country), leather shoes and belt, and an analog watch. Always match the color of your belt with your shoes, and always match your socks with either your shoes or your pants. DON'T try too hard or dress up too much for the occasion, or you'll stick out like a viagra-induced boner and look like a twat.

Tall boots haven't been worn with everyday clothing since the beginning of the 1800's. If you go fox hunting you'd wear long boots, or if your army uniform includes it. There's nothing else really with modern clothes you'd wear tall boots with besides riding clothes unless you want to go back and revive regency styles.

Has anyone noticed that good, non-ghetto black women particularly give you attention when you dress semi-decently? Same

Like I want to find someone who can make clothing custom and follow my guidelines based on reich uniforms

And get someone to make some boots

Then boom I've created the next "evolution" in formal/business/fashionable wear

All you have to do is distance it from the reich just enough for the normies to not draw conclusions. Really you can say the boots were based off the boots rich English wore with suits back in the day if someone is persistently questioning you

DAMNIT I HAVE THE BEST IDEA FOR A STYLE I WOULD WEAR EVERY DAY BUT PROBABLY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE IT REAL

I like it. When I first got them I was in shoe sales and would wear them standing only for 8-10 hours a day. This was extremely painful for my feet the first two weeks.

For someone who isn't standing for such a long period of time which is the vast majority of people it'll be great through and through. If you are on your feet a lot just push through that two week period where your bitch feet adjust and then it's great.

As someone else has just mentioned I really enjoy how AE stands behind their products and offers recrafting so you can have their shoes for life. With their traditional styles it's very easy to imagine them being fashionable for a long time.

>>78652362

I'm afraid I don't know enough about them to give a good opinion. Just looking at them online I can point out some things I like and don't like but that's not bringing much to the table.

I like to support American businesses so that's a big reason I stick with AE instead of say, Magnanni.

You're close to Turkey so you could probably find a hundred amazing tailors there, it's always the last place you'd expect where you usually find something great.
