Any and every kind of uncertainty leads to a dip in the market.
Considering UK just voted to open up the mystery box instead of staying in the EU a dip was inevitable. It's way too early for anybody to tell how it will end up, if anybody claims to know they're lying.
So basically disregard everything and just wait?
Leaving the EU means our hands are no longer tied in where we can trade, how we trade, ridiculous standards for good etc.
There's no royally fucked anything Ameribro. The world is our oyster.
And ya know what? Even if it all goes tits up then that's ok too. At least we no longer answer to the beaurocrats in a country far away from ours and who we had no say in putting into power.

Yes. It will take several years to renegotiate all the trade agreements lost by leaving the EU. This is just the beginning, the UK economy will get even worse in the long run, specifically when the UK formally leaves the EU.

Thousands upon thousands of lbs of fish are thrown back, mostly dead, because they're the wrong fish and they've been caught in the trawlers. But the EU says you can't keep them, so back they go.
Another would be farmers. Prices fixed for the whole of Europe. Which might suit Spain on...I dunno, advocados, but destroys farmers here.

It's a question of balancing the freedom from the EU's crippling over-regulation versus the huge hit the UK is bound to take from new tariff barriers with its major trading partners.

It's just a panic response to a major shift. Things will balance out in a few days/weeks. They probably won't 100% recover for a while, but they'll be better off in the long run once the EU crashes.
